Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This policy explains what data FeaturePulse, provided by FeaturePulse, collects and why. We collect only what the service needs and never sell personal data.

Account holders

  • Your email address, used to sign you in and to send notifications you can turn off per project.
  • If you sign in with GitHub: the username, name, avatar and verified email address GitHub shares when you approve the sign-in. We use the email to identify your account and get no access to your repositories.
  • If you sign in with Google: the name, profile picture and verified email address Google shares when you approve the sign-in. We use the email to identify your account and get no access to your Google data.
  • The label of the link you came through, such as ?ref=hn, saved once when your account is created so we know which channels bring new users. If the link has no label and your browser reports that you came from Reddit, Hacker News or X, we save that site’s name instead (never the full address of the page). The label travels in the link itself; no cookie is set for it.
  • Your projects, website domains and changelog entries.
  • How often your widget loads on each website: one counter per project, site address and day, so we can see which installs are in use. It holds nothing about the visitors of those sites.
  • Your plan and Paddle customer and subscription IDs. Paddle processes your payment details; we never see your card number.

Visitors of websites that embed the widget

  • Ideas you submit (title and description) and your votes.
  • To count one vote per visitor and to block spam we store a one-way hash of your IP address and browser user agent, combined with a secret key. We don’t store raw IP addresses.
  • The widget sets no cookies. It remembers which updates you have seen in your browser’s local storage, which never leaves your device.

Cookies and analytics

The dashboard uses only the cookies required to keep you signed in. We count visits to this website with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies: it tells visitors apart by a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, and shows us only totals such as page views, referring sites, countries, browsers and device types. The widget on other websites carries no analytics, and we use no advertising trackers.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers that run the service:

  • Supabase — database and sign-in (EU, Ireland).
  • GitHub — optional sign-in with your GitHub account.
  • Google — optional sign-in with your Google account.
  • Vercel — hosting (functions run in the EU, Dublin) and the website analytics described above.
  • Paddle — payments, taxes and invoices, as our Merchant of Record.
  • Resend — notification emails.

Retention and your rights

We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting a project removes its changelog, ideas and votes immediately. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, including your whole account, by writing to artashesmuradyan92@gmail.com.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
